Rangi is a region of floating islands. Some of them are big and full of habitants, so they rise up high in the sky. Otherwise, there are tiny islands with small towns that are losing habitants everday and are in danger of dissapearing.

Akia is a worker from one of the biggest islands. One day, she is fired and in a discussion with her boss, he throws her away and she ends up falling in the small town of Villa Aurora. Talking to the habitants, Akia will discover their story and help them to gain enough energy to go up in the sky and return to her island.
